This busy secondary college required an automated sliding gate to be installed at the front entrance of their staff car park The gate needed to be open for a short time in the morning and afternoon for the teachers.
The remainder of the day the gate must remained closed and could only be operated by transponders located in each teachers car. As the teachers car approached the gate from either the outside or inside, the RF signal went back to device located in the gate logics. This identified the driver and granted access by the gate opening.
This system is very new and the concept is one of the first used here in Australian in this type of application.
