A pair of old and deteriorating bi-fold gates were causing operational issues for the East Gate Shopping Centre in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. Leda were subsequently asked to remove and replace them with new 3.0 metre high manually operated bi-folds.
The installation was required to be done after normal business hours and Leda’s installation team worked over several nights to remove and replace the gates. As a consequence the project was successfully completed with minimal disruption to the loading dock area. The smooth swinging gates can now easily be opened and closed by the complex’s security staff.
