Leda’s Sydney office recently won a major contract to supply some 600 of our “HD industrial bollards”.
The “HD” high security bollards are manufactured and installed in two pieces providing the flexibility of unbolting and removing the above ground bollard section if required. There is a considerable amount of welding involved on each of these large sections making it an ideal project for our robot.
The robotic welder has managed to halve the welding time from 50 to less than 30 minutes per section and as an added bonus is capable of working a double shift each day.
