Auburn council as part of the Auburn Festival on 17th September 2011, provided bicycle parking as part of the event. The Auburn Festival is a large event in the councils calendar with thousands of people attending the event and increasingly, many arriving by bicycle and subsequently requiring parking facilities. The location at Wyatt Park in Auburn did not have the anticipated number of bike parking spaced for the event. Leda was engaged to install the bike parking on the day before the event and then pick it up immediately after the event on the Saturday afternoon. The racks are bright yellow for people to see and are also clearly signed for cyclists. You can squeeze up to 20 bikes on the rack and cyclists can secure the frame to the rack which is important for security.
